Sabio launches Women of Color Fellowship Fund

Sabio provides pioneering web developer training programs designed to help individuals break into the tech industry.

With the unveil of its new Women of Color Fellowship Fund, Sabio will provide scholarships to 100 women of $13,450 to enrol in a 12-week coding bootcamp, with training and ongoing professional development for five years.

Headquartered in Culver City, Los Angeles, Sabio will also provide a virtual academy for women who are unable to participate in the Culver City program due to costs and distance.

The virtual academy offers exceptional training for smart and motivated individuals who want to learn to code. They will interact with a skill instructor in real time , with direct access to online videos, training modules and fellow students.

The Women of Color Fellowship Fund is seeking applicants who identify as female who are 18 years or older, and must be willing to volunteer at least 100 hours to a non profit in a coding capacity within two years of their graduation date.
